moldova-bound

mer and i went to moldova to meet new baby evan grinder. we took the night train which could have been easy except mama may have forgotten her blankie and pillow. who would know i have parented six kids, right? major rookie mistake right there!

we were blessed to stay with our friend’s {the bartlett family} which was the perfect place for us to stay. they are also a gluten free home AND they have a very similar schedule to us…so staying with them was super relaxing. although as most of you know i am NOT a night owl and two of the nights i stayed up chatting until past 11pm. oh my. {it was worth it, though!}

we met evan, i chatted with shannon and mermer played with juju. i am so thankful mercy and i were able to go and meet even while he is still a newborn. we also went to our church in moldova and hugged LOTS of friends. it was a super four days!

we took the maxi-taxi home in case you were wondering. in the daytime. mer and i just don’t do overnight trains sans blankie and pillow.
