the mer and i planted some flowers. nothing much. we had to take the inexpensive route this year even though i kind of wanted to plant an entire veggie garden on my balcony. but let me tell you when she discovered the budding plants, she went ecstatic. she was racing back and forth, shouting, “me new home grow-ing! me new plants in me new home grow-ing! here ‘de come!”
then she begged me to take pictures of them with my phone.
{side notes: she missed a lot of the actual buds. and yes those are my daughter’s own amazingly adorable squishy toes in her picture taking adventure.}
i think she has a green thumb!
