tonight my grandma is breathing some of her last breaths. we’ve know it was coming. she has alzheimer’s and has been fighting a good and decent fight. but the last few days have finally become the last stages of the disease. she isn’t in pain but she does have more and more frequent seizures as her body shuts down.
for some reason, knowing it was coming just doesn’t make it any easier, ya know? we could definitely use your prayers as we walk through the next few days.
this picture is from my sister sarah’s wedding. grandma couldn’t come. i am pretty short with small hands like her. so i wore her rings and necklaces as sarah’s matron of honor. every time i see this picture, i see grandma.
